Well, in pursuit of the perfect spaetzle, I’ve tried yet another variation and I think I’m in love. So, there I was, standing in front of an open fridge looking for spaetzle inspiration when I saw the bacon. A little lightbulb went off in my head. Eureka! Bacon spaetzle, and let me tell you it tastes [...] So it was a lazy Sunday afternoon when I realized that the leftover turkey I had planned for dinner had been nibbled at (substantially) and I was without a plan for dinner. Then the dreaded question struck: what’s for dinner? A moment of panic ensued and then I calmed and rationally debated with myself on [...] I recently made this lasagna at a family gathering and it received rave reviews. While nothing terribly special, this home cooked layered fan favorite offers a layer of spinach and ricotta as well as a bechamel sauce on the top that combines with loads of cheese to form a soft yet golden brown topping. Slow [...] Almost always in the mood for pasta, I was scrounging around trying to figure out what to make for dinner while at the same time using up bits of things that were in the fridge and freezer. I’m a horrible bit keeper. I’ll keep a bit of this, and a bit of that and before [...] Well the cold has once again returned to central Texas and when that happens I start craving hearty, warm and cheesy dishes for dinner. My quest for healthy low fat meals got temporarily set aside last night when I made this fabulous dish. Who doesn’t love cheesy, beefy, pasta-y yumminess? But I get so BORED with [...] |
